The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops today announced that several local restaurants were named award winners in a variety of categories at the 41st annual festival. The judging took place this morning by a panel of over 60 food judges representing local media, political, business, and community development sectors.

Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops Friendly Markets (Tops) returns to downtown Buffalo for its 41st event on Saturday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The nation's largest two-day food festival features culinary delights from 43 restaurants and food trucks, four New York State wineries, live local music and more along Delaware Avenue starting at Chippewa Street and continuing into Niagara Square.

The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops Friendly Markets is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program to support Western New York-area high school seniors aspiring to have careers in the foodservice, hospitality, and culinary arts industries. This year's program will award three $500 scholarships on behalf of the Taste and one $1,000 scholarship in partnership with Tops, which will be awarded based on the criteria and terms described in the scholarship applications. To be eligible for any of these four scholarships, students must be residents of Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Wyoming, Genesee, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, or Allegany counties and have enrolled in a two or four-year college in an eligible degree program.

The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops today announced Tom Mahoney as chair of the 2024 event. Additionally, it was announced that the deadline for restaurants, food trucks and wineries to apply for the 2024 festival is Monday, February 12. This year's event takes place July 13 and 14 along Delaware Ave. and Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo.

The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops has announced recipients of five scholarships awarded to Western New York-area high school seniors aspiring to careers in the Foodservice and Hospitality industries. Each of the students below will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be applied toward room and board, books, or fees.
