Food Truck Application

The restaurant application is open year-round, however the deadline to apply for the 2025 festival is February 14, 2025. 

The Taste Restaurant Committee will review all completed applications received by the deadline date and will begin filling the available space. If your establishment meets the below criteria and if space is available, a representative will reach out to you with additional details and next steps. Chain restaurants will be given consideration only if local restaurants do not fill every available space.

To be considered for entry into the event, your Food Truck must:

  • Be an operational Food Truck, registered to serve by the NYS Health Department.
  • Be open year-round in Western New York.

There is a $700 entry that includes:

  • Signage identifying your restaurant name and menu items
  • Electric
  • All necessary permits other than annual permits already held by the Food Truck.
  • Roaming event security

Taste of Buffalo retains 18% of sales after NYS sales tax is withheld.

Please consider the following details when completing the application below. Food Trucks that are selected to participate will be required to comply with all menu item requirements and adhere to the guidelines and rules of the Taste of Buffalo. All food items are purchased with food tickets, ranging from 2 to 12 tickets. Only food can be offered on your menu. Beverage items are not permitted. Every effort will be made to minimize menu item duplication across all participating Taste restaurants.
